Very rare Scotland away shirt as worn in the international period 1982-1985.
The 1982–1985 period was an emotional time for the Scotland national team. Scotland competed at the 1982 FIFA World Cup but were eliminated in the group stage. Under coach Jock Stein, the team later qualified for the 1986 FIFA World Cupafter a play-off against Australia national football team. However, shortly after the decisive match in 1985, Jock Stein passed away following a heart attack at the stadium. Key players during this period included Kenny Dalglish, Graeme Souness and Alan Hansen.
