Real Madrid third shirt as worn in the season 1996-1997, with Predrag Mijatović (number #8) on the back. Has the LFP league patch on the right sleeve.
Born in Titograd (SR Montenegro), striker Mijatović played for the national team of Yugoslavia between 1989-2003. The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia broke up 1992, but Serbia and Montenegro still were part of the leftover FR Yugoslavia. After 2003, the name of the country changed to Serbia and Montenegro for three years. Therefore, during his international career, Predrag Mijatović played only for the Yugoslavian national football team. He played for Madrid in the period 1996-1999.
The name/number set is painted on the shirt.
