The Netherlands secured qualification for the 1994 FIFA World Cup after finishing second in their qualifying group behind Norway national football team. Key moments included a 2–2 draw away to England national football team and a decisive 2–0 victory over England in Rotterdam. Important players during the year included Dennis Bergkamp, Ronald Koeman, Frank Rijkaard and emerging winger Marc Overmars.
It looks like the same shirt that was worn in the international season 1994-1995 but this 1993 version has the Lotto logos printed between the lions throughout the shirt.
