Description
Match worn/issued Torino away shirt by a number #7 in the season 1993-1994. This number was worn by multiple players, midfielders to be precise. It was worn by or issued for a midfielder from the Primavera team, because the Coppa Italia patch is not present on the chest.
This shirt has all the characteristics of a match shirt: correct player size number is printed within the material; other labels than the replica fanshop version, but above all the fully embroidered Lotto logo and club crest on the chest (which on the replica fanshop shirts were both screen printed).
It is highly possible that this shirt was worn by multiple players in multiple matches. It was very common that the sportswear manufacturers only produced one shirt with long sleeves and one with short sleeves for the entire season. This changed around the year 2000.

In the first team, the number 7 was worn by multiple players. It was worn by the attacking midfielder Enzo Francescoli. The Uruguayan international played only one season at Torino. More frequently he wore the number 10 (e.g. during the Supercoppa Italiana Final on 21 August 1993 in Washington). Former Italian midfielder Marco Osio also wore the number 7 (see photo 10). Also former Italian midfielder Marco Sinigaglia wore the number (see last photo).
