Enrico Chiesa is a former Italian striker known for his powerful shot and ability to score from distance. He began his career at Sampdoria. In the period 1987-1996 he was loaned out to Teramo, Chieti, Modena and Cremonese before joining Parma (1996–1999). Here, he won the UEFA Cup and Coppa Italia in 1998–1999. He later played for Fiorentina (1999–2002), Lazio (2002–2003) and Siena (2003–2008). At international level, Chiesa earned 22 caps and scored 7 goals for Italy, and he was part of the squad for Euro 1996. He is also known as the father of Italian international Federico Chiesa.
