Description
Match worn or issued Olympique Marseille 2007-2008 long-sleeved third shirt by number #5 Jacques Faty in the UEFA Cup (current Europa League). The official UEFA Cup patch is present on the right sleeve.
Former French center back Jacques Faty played only one season for OM, this 2007-08 season.
In the 2007-08 season, Olympique Marseille finished third in the Ligue 1 and stranded in the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue. In the Champions League group OM finished third and secured a place in the knockout stage of the UEFA Cup. They finished behind Porto and Liverpool and above Beşiktaş. In the Round of 32, OM beat Spartak Moscow (3-2 on aggregate) but went out in the Round of 16 against Zenit Saint Petersburg (3-3 on away goal ruling).
In the first leg of the UEFA Cup match against Spartak Moscow, on February 13, 2008, OM played with these kit. In both legs against Zenit they used these shirts as well. Faty started with number 5 in both home games with long sleeves. It’s highly likely that this shirt is worn in either of the matches. Photo 9 shows Faty during the match against Spartak, while in photo 10 Faty is pictured in action against Zenit.

- Adidas “FORMOTION” material model instead of “CLIMACOOL”
- Adidas official Hologram is missing in the bottom right of the front
