Description
Match worn or issued Netherlands/Holland home shirt by number #12 Aron Winter in the international seasons 1991-1993.
This shirt has all the features of a match shirt: correct player size shaded number on the back that is professionally screen-printed, first team player size XL, stitched Lotto and KNVB (Dutch lion) logo (which on the commercially available fanshop shirts were screen printed).
The Netherlands always started a match with the numbers 1-11, so the number 12 started on the bench. During the 1992 UEFA European Football Championship, the players wore a small number on the front as well. Therefore, it is not from this tournament. Mid 1993 they changed kits with a different pattern, sold here.
The Netherlands/Holland played the following games in the 1991-1993 seasons in this home kit (excluding the UEFA Euro 1992).
1991:
1. Netherlands 1 – 0 Malta for the Euro 92 Qualifier (13 March 1991)
