Salvatore Schillaci is a former Italian striker, famous for leading Italy’s attack at the 1990 World Cup, where he won both the Golden Boot and Golden Ball as the tournament’s top scorer and best player. He played for clubs like Messina, Juventus, Inter Milan, and later moved to Japan. Unfortunately, Schillaci passed away in September 2024 at the age of 59.

Davide Fontolan is a retired Italian winger and attacking midfielder, best known for his time with Genoa and Inter Milan in the late 1980s and early 1990s. A skillful and versatile wide player, Fontolan contributed to Genoa’s strong campaigns, including their UEFA Cup run. With Inter (1990-1996), Fontolan won the 1990-91 and 1993-94 UEFA Cup.

This shirt has all the characteristics of a match shirt: the professionally stitched number in cloth material on the back; first team player size XL, and the fully embroidered Umbro logo on the chest which on the official replica shirts was screen printed. Furthermore, the Umbro lettering is capitalized which is also not the case on the shirts that were commercially available shirts.

Ruben Sosa wore the shirt a couple of times, Dell’Anno two times and also Shalimov two times (against Torino and Milan away). In the last two season matches of the Serie A, against Roma at home and Atalanta away, the shirt was worn by Berti.
