Match worn or issued early 1990s Hellas Verona away shirt by the club’s number 2 for one of the seasons between 1992-1995. Throughout these years, this number was frequently worn by Ernesto Calisti (until 1994), Cleto Polonia (1992-1993), Diego Caverzan (1993 onwards), Stefano Fattori (1993 onwards), Ferdinando Signorelli (1993-1994), Damiano Tommasi (club legend and current mayor of Verona). The sponsor Rana is covered by the newer Ferroli sponsor. Therefore, I believe this shirt is meant for the 1994-1995 season.
In the period 1992-1995, Verona were a mid table team in the Serie B. This ended already after the 1995-96 season, when they got promoted back to the Serie A after finishing second in the league. In the years after they were going back and forth between the first and second league. They even ended up in the third highest league, the Serie C1/Lega Pro Prima Divisione in the 2000s. As of today, 2026, they play in the Serie A.
