Description
Match worn or issued Germany home shirt from a #16 who played in the international season 1998-1999, which was most likely Dietmar Hamann. Not worn during the 1998 World Cup because (1) there is no name on the back and (2) the text “FIFA World Cup France 98” is not present below the national patch.
The shirt has all the characteristics of a match shirt: the number on the front and back that have been professionally heat pressed.
This shirt with the number on the front and back, without the player name, was worn during the EURO Qualifiers of 1998 and 1999 and some of the friendly matches during this international season. Below you will find a list of the friendly matches in where this shirt was worn (without player name and with both numbers).
