Alessandro Faiolhe Amantino, commonly known as Mancini, is a former Brazilian football player who played in both Italian leagues (Serie A, Serie B) and Brazilian league divisions. He was active in Italy in the period 2003-2011, for Venezia (2003), Roma (2003-2008), Inter (2008-2011) and half a year on loan at Milan (2010). Mancini started as a right back in Brazil, but after moving to Italy he was also used as an attacking player. Roma used him primarily as a winger, but sometimes he was put in the center of attack. Mancini played over 220 matches for the club from the Italian capital city.
In the 2004-05 season, Mancini played in five UEFA Champions League matches. Roma went out in the group stage. They were part of Group B together with Bayer Leverkusen, Dynamo Kyiv and Real Madrid. In both matches against Dynamo Kyiv and Real Madrid Roma wore their red home kits. In both home and away matches against Leverkusen, on 19 October and 11 November 2004, Roma wore their white away kits.
