Brazilian striker Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva (Pato’s full name) was active for AC Milan in the climax of his career, between 2007 and 2013. He played ~150 official matches for the club from Italy, and he scored over 60 goals. He was part of the Brazilian national football team in the period 2008-2013.
This 2007-08 season was Pato’s first season at the club. The Serie A season did not end so good for AC Milan because the club only finished fifth. They stranded in the Round of 16 of both the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Champions League. However, they won both the 2007 UEFA Super Cup and 2007 FIFA Club World Cup. Pato played 18 Serie A matches and 2 Champions League matches in this season. The manager was Carlo Ancelotti and Pato played together with star players like Cafu, Gattuso, Inzaghi, Nesta, Pirlo, Kaká, Ronaldinho and of course captain Paolo Maldini.
