Match worn Inter Milan home shirt in 1993 by the football legend Dennis Bergkamp, with his iconic number 10.
The shirt came from a former collector who received it from someone that got it directly from Dennis Bergkamp back in the days. Unfortunately, the specific game(s) is (are) unknown, so it could be possible that it was worn in the 1993-94 UEFA Cup that Inter won. In any case, the home shirt with number 10 in short sleeves was only worn by Dennis in the 1993-1994 season! In 1994, Inter used numbers with the Umbro logo present on the bottom of each number, so it was only used in one or multiple matches of 1993.
Inter Milan’s 1993–1994 season was difficult in Serie A, as the club finished 13th and spent much of the season near the relegation zone. Despite poor league form, Inter had major success in Europe by winning the UEFA Cup. They defeated Salzburg in the final over two legs, giving the club an important European trophy. Dennis Bergkamp played for Inter Milan from 1993 to 1995 after joining from Ajax.
