The 1993-94 season was a memorable one for AC Milan, as Fabio Capello’s side dominated both Serie A and Europe. The Rossoneri secured the Serie A title, finishing atop the league with a strong defensive record, and capped off the season by winning the UEFA Champions League, dismantling Barcelona 4-0 in the final. Milan also won the Supercoppa Italia. Christian Panucci is a former Italian defender who played professionally from 1990 to 2010. He began his career at Genoa (1990–1993) before moving to AC Milan (1993–1996), where he won two Serie A titles and the Champions League. He then joined Real Madrid (1996–1999), becoming the first Italian to play for the club and winning La Liga and another Champions League title. After Real Madrid he had spells with Inter Milan (1999–2001), a loan to Chelsea (2000–2001), and a loan to Monaco (2001) before settling at Roma (2001–2009), where he became a key defender and won two Coppa Italia titles. Panucci finished his playing career at Parma (2009–2010) and also earned 57 caps for the Italy national team between 1994 and 2008.
