Description
Match worn AC Milan 1995-1996 home shirt by number #3 Paolo Maldini in the Serie A. Italian defender Maldini is a living AC Milan club legend, who only played for AC Milan in his football career.
In this 1995-96 season, AC Milan won the Serie A and reached the quarter-finals of both the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Europa League. Maldini played every match in the Europa League. There were only 4 Serie A matches where Maldini did not play: both matches against Padova, Vicenza at home and US Cremonese at home. Maldini always played with number #3 when he started a match.
During their 1995-96 Europa League campaign, AC Milan wore the same shirts without a name above the number. In the Serie A they did have a name above the number on the back. They wore shirts either with sublimated names and numbers in the shirt and this flock version.
AC Milan’s match shirts from the 1995-1996 season do not differ from replica fanshop shirts. However, number/name set in felt material on the back is professionally heat-pressed. There is a short written and signed letter that confirms that someone received this shirt after a certain Serie A match.
