Match issued Netherlands/Holland long-sleeved away shirt for Rob Witschge, who played with number #14 at the UEFA Euro 1992 (EURO 92).
Rob Witschge is a former midfielder from Amsterdam. He is the older brother of Richard Witschge, who joined Ajax’ youth team after Rob. Rob played for the senior team between 1985 and 1989, before joining French team Saint-Étienne for one season. In 1991 he moved back to the Netherlands to play for Feyenoord. During five seasons Rotterdam, he one the KNVB league cup four times, the Dutch Eredivisie league one time, and the Dutch Supercup (Johan Cruijff Schaal) one time.
This European Football Championship took place in Sweden (June 1996). Holland finished first in Group B, above Germany, Scotland and CIS national football team. The Netherlands lost in the semi-finals against Denmark in the penalty shoot out after a 2-2 draw. The Dutch national football squad wore the classic orange home kit in all 4 matches.
