Description
Match issued AC Milan 4th/fourth shirt for the club’s number #7 in the 1995-1996 season. Milan only played friendly matches with this fourth kit during the 1995-1996 pre-season. However, these shirts had a number on the back from felt material. Also the stars above the club crest was larger in these matches. Therefore, the specific shirt available here is a match issue. A match worn version is sold here.
This fourth shirt was at least worn during the pre-season friendly against Standard Liège on 2 August 1995. It was the last blue shirt of I Rossoneri until the release of the third shirt that was used in the 2020-2021 season. Very rare shirt and there is no match worn version to be found online. A true true gem!
In the 1995-96 season, AC Milan had a classic black and red vertical striped shirt as their home kit; a white away kit, and a yellow third kit that was worn in the Coppa Italia (they lost to Bologna in the quarter-finals). AC Milan finished off the season by winning the Serie A. They lost to Girondins Bordeaux in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup.
The number on the back is present within the material of the shirt. The star badge and club crest are sewn. The technical sponsor Lotto is fully embroidered. The commercial sponsor is in the sublimation plot.
