Very rare Liverpool home shirt as worn in the seasons 1976-1979, with a number #7 in felt material on the back.
There were multiple home shirt versions available for the players and in the fanshops in the period 1976-1982. For example, players wore shirts with small and large embroidered Umbro logos. For fans, both short- and long-sleeved shirts were available, and shirts with embroidered or heat-pressed club logos.
There is also a difference in the width of the white V-neck. The one sold here has a white V-neck that is twice as thin as most of the others that were and still are available. It is the one of the seasons 1976-79, and the broader V-neck being from the 1979-82 seasons. A 1977 European Cup final Rome shirt was also made available for fans (very limited), having the same sized white V-neck.
