Barcelona’s period from 1992 to 1995 was mainly defined by Johan Cruyff’s Dream Team and mixed domestic and European results. In the 1992–1993 and 1993–1994 seasons, Barcelona won La Liga, with the 1993–1994 title decided on goal difference on the final day. In Europe, the club reached the UEFA Champions League final in 1994 but suffered a heavy defeat against AC Milan in Athens. The 1994–1995 season marked the end of this era, as Barcelona finished 4th in La Liga, failed to win a major trophy, and Cruyff left the club in 1996 after internal conflicts.
