Brazil’s national team year 1994 is remembered as one of the most important in the country’s football history. Coached by Carlos Alberto Parreira, Brazil won the FIFA World Cup in the United States, securing a record fourth world title. The team went unbeaten throughout the tournament and defeated Italy in the final after a 0–0 draw, winning on penalties. Key players included Romário, who was joint top scorer and named player of the tournament, along with Bebeto, Dunga and Cafu. The 1994 victory ended a 24-year wait for a World Cup and marked Brazil’s return to the top of world football.
