Very special Argentina home shirt as worn in the international seasons of the early 1980s, after Argentina won the World Cup in 1978. “Campeon del Mundo” is part of the Argentine Football Association (“AFA”) logo/crest (see photos). Le coq sportif were the sponsor of the Argentinian national team from 1980. Therefore, this shirt is not from the 1978-1980 period but from 1980. In 1983 the national logo changed to one containing a laurel wreath. Very rare piece in NEW condition. You will not find it in a better condition somewhere else!
