Amazing Ajax third (3rd) shirt as worn in the Champions League season 2021-2022. It was also worn in some of the Eredivisie league matches. Brand new with tags still on!
Ajax played the 2021–2022 season under head coach Erik ten Hag and had a very successful year domestically. The club won the Eredivisie title with a large points gap and also lifted the KNVB Cup, completing a domestic double. In Europe, Ajax impressed in the UEFA Champions League group stage by winning all six matches, but were surprisingly eliminated in the round of 16 by Benfica. The season featured strong performances from players such as Dusan Tadic and Sebastien Haller and was Ten Hag’s final full season before leaving the club.
It is a tribute shirt to Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds, which is sang by Ajax supporters during (almost) the end of every half-time break. What a beauty! Of course 100% authentic.
