A very very special Ajax shirt from 1990, when Ajax have won the Eredivisie 1990 (“Kampioen” means champion).
There is no photo evidence that confirms the existence of a batch of these shirts but the shirt has all the characteristics of an original and one-of-a-kind item: the Umbro shirt is 100% original and from 1990 because of the patterning (teams like Manchester City wore Umbro shirts with the same patterning); the stitched Ajax patch is original, containing the red/white shield on the right and the red outline of the patch itself.
Ajax won the Dutch Eredivisie when they drew NEC (1-1) on the last day of the season, on 6 May 1990.
