George Weah is a former football player with a senior football career of over 25 years. He is seen as one of the best strikers in the 1990s. After playing for some club teams in Liberia, where George Weah was born and raised, and winning the Liberian Premier League, Weah moved to Cameroon to play for Tonnerre Yaoundé (1987-1988). Here, he was discovered by the national team coach of Cameroon who had ties with Arsène Wenger. Wenger brought Weah to his club Monaco in 1988. Together they won the 1990-91 Coupe de France. In 1992 Weah made the move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), where he won the Ligue 1, Coupe de France (2x) and the Coupe de la Ligue in the period 1992-1995. Weah then joined AC Milan in 1995, where he played 5 years and won the Serie A two times. In the last three years of his career, the striker played for Chelsea (in 2000, on loan from Milan), Manchester City (2000), Olympique de Marseille (2000–2001) and Al Jazira (2001–2003).

This fourth shirt was at least worn during the pre-season friendly against Standard Liège on 2 August 1995. It was the last blue shirt of I Rossoneri until the release of the third shirt that was used in the 2020-2021 season.
