Do you sell original football clothing?
Yes, all the shirts we sell are 100% authentic and original.
We have years of experience in determining the authenticity of a vintage football item.
Before we buy and sell an item, we will always want to be 100% sure of the authenticity.
We will make sure to do enough research to take away any doubt. If a shirt is a reproduction it will say so very clearly in the description.

Where does Football & Vintage Amsterdam ship to?
We ship worldwide. We always supply you with a tracking number, unless your country does not support this.
Your shipping fee will be calculated automatically during checkout. For more information about shipping fees and transport times check out our shipping policy

Can I return an item I bought at Football & Vintage Amsterdam?
You can always return your purchase if you are not entirely satisfied. Send us an e-mail if you want to start the return process.
In some cases we do ask for a contribution in the (return) shipping costs. For more information check out our return policy

How is the condition of an item determined?
Please note that all shirts are second hand, unless stated otherwise. We use the following order to describe the condition of an item:
• Brand new with Tags (BNWT)
• Excellent                                     – mint condition, only flaw allowed is a faded/removed label in the neck
• Very good                                  – minimal signs of wear (tiny light pulls and/or some bobbling and/or slight de-coloring)
• Good                                          – signs of wear (pulls and/or bobbling and/or de-coloring that are more obvious) but the item is still good considering the age
• Fair                                             – item looks like it has been worn a lot and has multiple obvious signs of wear

How do I wash a vintage football/sports item?
We recommend to wash your vintage football clothing separately in a hand wash to prevent damage to the item. In general, older items are more sensitive/susceptible for damage. If the patches on a football item, for instance, are stitched, the item will generally last longer than a printed patch. I always put my vintage football clothing in a hand wash (max. 40 degrees Celsius) and my vintage sports clothing in the washing machine (max. 50 degrees Celsius). Always turn a football shirt inside out before washing. Use as little detergent as necessary. We strongly discourage the use of fabric softener and the use of a tumble dryer.
